What We Believe
We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and hold to the beliefs of the Baptist Faith and Message (Click here to read The Baptist Faith and Message).
Additionally, believing the Bible as the inspired Word of God, this Church acknowledges these purposes:
a. To worship the Lord God regularly as individuals and corporately as a body with the understanding that prayer is paramount in this endeavor;
b. To proclaim the good news of what God has done in Christ and to be faithful witnesses as individuals in leading lost persons to a saving faith in Jesus Christ;
c. To provide Christian fellowship for all the membership and to seek to enlist all members in this fellowship;
d. To teach people the Bible, emphasizing the life, works, and teachings of Jesus Christ, with the view of nurturing the membership and instructing those outside the faith;
e. To encourage the membership to apply the Bible to all areas of their lives, including the family, school, workplace, and leisure activities;
f. To cooperate with other Southern Baptist Churches in the world missions challenge through prayer, monetary gifts, and personal involvement in mission projects;
g. To minister to each other in a servant role to help meet spiritual and other needs as deemed appropriate and to extend this ministry to those outside the Church as the Lord leads.
